1920

Marui & Manufacturing CO., LTD. established. Manufacturing of scientific instruments and testing apparatus started by Fusakichi Marui.

1939

Marui & Manufacturing CO., LTD. established in Osaka city. Manufacturing of testing apparatus for cement and concrete started.

1947

Development and Manufacturing of testing apparatus related to building construction strengthened in association with the recovery of the national land.

1949

Triaxial compression apparatus for soil developed and sold.

1950

Tokyo branch opened in Tokyo Metropolis.

1952

Factory designated by Minister of International Trade and Industry as an approved manufacturer measurement devices and testing apparatus.

1954

Development in concrete non-destructive testing machine by supersonic wave succeeded.

1962

Large triaxial compression testing apparatus for rockfill dam construction developed and supplied to an electric plant.

Concrete freezing and thawing apparatus for concrete dam construction developed and supplied.

1965

Designing and manufacturing of low temperature plant and environmental testing apparatus started.

1967

Kyushu branch opened in Fukuoka city.

1968

MARUI & CO., LTD. established. (The sales department split to be independent from Marui & Manufacturing CO., LTD.)

Electric hydraulic servo automatic control technique applied to vibration fatigue testing apparatus.

Development in testing apparatus of avalanche of earth and rocks for Disaster Prevention Research Institute Kyoto University succeeded.

Development in rapid alkaline aggregates reaction testing and curing apparatus succeeded.

1987

Large rock shear testing apparatus for earthquake prediction provided for Earthquake Research Institute, The University of Tokyo.

Development in energy and space saving freezing and thawing apparatus succeeded.

1988

A centrifuge load testing apparatus for soil, the largest in the country, provided for Disaster Prevention Research Institute Kyoto University.

Development in the methods of light emitting and identification of air void for hardened concrete succeeded.

1991

Development in automated measuring apparatus for banking compaction of construction succeeded.

1992

Development in Swedish sounding test apparatus for bearing capacity testing for building sites succeeded.

1994

Development in high fluidity concrete quality management testing apparatus succeeded.

1995

Development in high rigidity concrete pressure testing machine "HI-ACTIS 2000kN" succeeded.

Development in artificial weather experiment room succeeded.

1996

Development of Portable Bearing Tester "CASPFOL" succeeded.

2000

Central CO., LTD., MARUI & CO., LTD., and Marui & Manufacturing CO., LTD. consolidated.

Newly established MARUI & CO., LTD. head office relocated in Daito city in Osaka prefecture.

A technical evaluation certificate awarded by The Society of Materials Science, Japan.

A technical evaluation certificate given to Portable Bearing Tester "CASPFOL".

2003

Acquired the certification as Accredited Calibration Laboratories of "force gauge" based on the traceability system of measurement under JCSS (Japan Calibration Service System).

Acquired ISO-9001:2000 Certificate, the international standards for quality management and quality assurance.

2004

Development in the high precision digital air meter "A-Checker" succeeded.。

2005

Fresh Concrete Unit Water Content Measuring Apparatus "W-Checker" registered in NETIS (New Technology Information System by Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism): No.KK-050023.

Acquired the certification as Accredited Calibration Laboratories of "Unconfined" based on the traceability system of measurement under JCSS (Japan Calibration Service System).

JCSS128 emblem calibration certificate issued.

2007

Development in fineness modulus of aggregate measuring apparatus using camera images "Sand Measure" succeeded.

2010
