[Outline of Product Technology]

Portable Bearing Tester "CASPFOL" calculates the strength parameter of the bearing power calculation of the foundation ground such as structures, by dropping a rammer with a built-in accelerometer and measuring the maximum impact acceleration of the time when the rammer hits the ground.
This apparatus alone can measure K30, qc, CBR, c, and φ, so it helps construction management.
"CASPFOL" is a measurement apparatus with a tripod, and can be used in a site where a heavy machine cannot be entered. It does not require an experienced operator as the measurement operation, just using the switch to drop the rammer to the ground, is speedy and easy.

Operation procedure

1. Extend or contract the tripod of the CASPFOL body and place it vertically with a spirit level.
2. Raise the rammer and fix it to the stopper.
3. Release the switch lever and drop the rammer.
4. Check the measurement value on the display and press the "Return" key.
Take a measurement five times for one measurement point.
5. Move to the next measurement point.
6. After all the measurement has been finished, connect a printer and press the print button.

Measurement data display

● Measurement value display (Indicator)

The result appears promptly, so you can measure while checking the values.
1) Date: Displays the measurement date.
2) Measurement point number: Adds a number for every five measurements.
3) Number of measurement: Records from one to five measurement for one measurement point.
(Measurement point increases by one after five measurement.)
4) Ia value: Indicates the impact value of the time when the rammer drops on the ground.
5) Indicates the current measurement mode. Every press of the mode key switches the measurement modes.
6) Flashes when the battery is going to run out. It tells you when recharging is necessary.

Checking of measurement data

● Recording paper

The measurement data can be printed at sites and presented immediately.
1) Indicates the printed date.
2) Prints the date of the measurement of the first five points.
3) Indicates "five measurement data for the first measurement point".
4) Indicates the measurement of Ia value data for the first to the fifth measurements.
8) Indicates the minimum value of the five measurements.
